To be a good fit for the Recruiting Manager opportunity, you will have:
  • A bachelor's degree.
  • 7 to 10 years of recruiting and HR experience and/or training, including 2+ years of management experience, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A track record of success in recruiting technical employees.
  • The ability to set up a recruiting program from scratch.

  • Experience managing relationships with third-party vendors.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Advanced knowledge of Human Resource systems such as Ultimate Software, and advanced internet skills.

Opportunity Overview
Reporting to the Director, Human Resources, you will be responsible for enhancing and maintaining the organization by planning, implementing, and evaluating recruiting and employee relations and policies, programs and practices. You will advise, influence and guide management on human capital strategies, focusing primarily on recruiting, employee relations, and training. Quick question for you - click here

In particular, you will build and carry out a program to recruit for Field Service Technicians, from building a pipeline to engaging vendors such as job boards to managing the program budget to promoting retention. We're bringing this function in-house and a key goal will be to minimize the time hiring managers spend on recruiting.

Role Details
More specifically, you will:
  • Identify and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensure policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance including upkeep of the employee handbook.
  • Provide guidance and support to management on issues involving performance management and compliance with internal policies, as well as all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Investigate and resolve human resources and employee relations issues. Advise management as to the appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
  • Develop recruitment strategies and tools to ensure the best candidate selection; actively source and recruit.
  • Oversee the pre-employment process and new employee orientation to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
  • Oversee company training programs including management training, sexual harassment prevention, and new hire orientation training.
  • Develop performance management strategies to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the organization.
  • Manage and track recruiting expenses and invoices.
  • Manage a variety of documentation, reporting and administrative requirements as needed/required.
  • Handle other duties as assigned.
To excel in this role you will take a proactive approach to building relationships with hiring managers, building trust and understanding their goals and challenges. You also should have a knack for finding the right culture and personality match between hiring managers and Technicians.
