You will be a key player in planning, coordinating and directing all activities in the construction, design and building of both CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) and LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas) fueling stations, as well other occasional infrastructure projects. For example, we are currently working on a LNG Offload Terminal project. While you will be responsible for your projects, you will also serve as a member of a strong team including other Senior Project Managers, Project Managers, a Planning Manager and Superintendent.

You will support a variety of clients with project budgets ranging from 200K to 5-6MM, with anywhere from 5 to 10 projects running concurrently (of varying scale and at varying phases). Through our experience and expertise, we have built solid processes and tools from which you can step in and hit the ground running and have an immediate impact. That doesn't mean, however, that there isn't room for your contributions to improve processes or increase efficiency. You will be part of the PM team, but work day to day with engineering teams, external consultants and contractors for each site build. Why Clean Energy

Impact and opportunity --  you will find there are plenty of opportunities for growth and expansion as the company continues on its strong growth path. Prove yourself a star in this highly visible role, and your efforts won't go unnoticed. We take pride in helping our team members take their careers to the next level, learn new skills and develop professionally.

The right solutions -- as more organizations explore alternative fuel vehicles, Clean Energy offers the right solutions at the right time. Nearly 14 million natural gas vehicles are on the road throughout the world, but only about 117,000 are in the U.S., according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration. Clean Energy is actively changing that statistic by building an infrastructure of commercial fueling stations, as well as building a portfolio of subsidiary, like-minded companies to drive success. You will directly support America's Natural Gas HighwayTM -- a network of LNG truck fueling stations on Interstate Highways connecting major metropolitan areas coast-to-coast and border-to-border -- and other Clean Energy initiatives.

Proven strong leadership -- you will join a team of accomplished, seasoned professionals at Clean Energy, led by Andrew Littlefair. Mr. Littlefair served as President of Pickens Fuel Corp (PFC), predecessor company of Clean Energy, which he co-founded in 1997 with Boone Pickens and was Staff Assistant to then President Ronald Reagan in the Office of Presidential Advance from 1983 to 1987. Our executive team's profiles can be viewed at CleanEnergyFuels.com. Clicking on this link will open a new browser window, so be sure to come back and submit your resume!

Solid growth -- more and more organizations are exploring alternative fuel vehicles and Clean Energy is transforming exploration to a viable choice. For instance, in 2009 we opened the world's largest public LNG truck fueling station to serve the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach as well as regional trucking (pictured above); this facility will help transportation companies comply with the Port of Long Beach's Clean Air Action Plan.

Excellent compensation -- in addition to a competitive salary and bonus incentive program, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental and other insurances, a 401(k) plan with discretionary company match, paid time off and more. We enjoy a business-professional environment.

Keys to Success

To excel in this role, you will not only have the necessary expertise to run large scope projects but you will also have a natural inclination towards fast moving and highly complex environments. You see obstacles as opportunities to stretch your problem solving muscles to meet your deliverables, and you would have it no other way.

As a pro in the industry you can take existing processes and translate them to meet differing situations that require consistent outcomes. You view ambiguity as just another opportunity to have an impact on the future.

Though you have a strong history of success and experience to rely upon, you must also be open to learning. Ours is a newer industry and chances are it's one you haven't worked in before. To be successful here, you will need to dedicate yourself to learning the company and the industry in short order.
