DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the creation and maintenance of Item/Part Master/Bill of Material.
Insure item/part master contain all critical part attributes required for release.
Analyze and correct master data information.
Coordinate change processes.
Understand & interpret engineering drawings and documentation.
Support the creation and validation of approved manufacture listings and approved vendor listings.
Maintain high communication level with the division, engineering and related services and provide assistance to incoming queries.
Interact with cross functional teams to resolve issues related to changes & facilitate change meetings.
Ensure ISO 9001 policies are adhered to.
Status report generation with change management.
QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION
Change management designation desired (CMII).
Some College or technical schooling would be an asset.
EXPERIENCE
Experience with small to medium document control/change activities.
Experience with Product Life Cycle/Data Management tools (Agile/Team Center etc.,) preferred.
Must have experience working with an Enterprise Resource Planning/Materials Requirements Planning system (AX/SAP/JDEdwards etc.).
Minimum 1-3 years of Document Control or Change Analyst experience.
PHYSICAL
Regularly required to stand walk or sit; use hands to operate computers, office equipment; use vision and hearing dealing with communication and office materials.
LANGUAGE
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences.
Excellent active listening skills.
Great communication skills with ability to work with different levels of Management.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Understanding of engineering practices and software.
CERTIFICATES/LICENSES/PERMITS
Superior planning and organizational skills combined with the ability to work under pressure on multiple and competing deadlines.
Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships.
