Summary Fill fuel tanks of natural gas fuel vehicles with liquefied natural gas, inspect and maintain fueling equipment and assure and maintain esthetically pleasing appearance of the stations by performing the following duties. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Fill fuel tanks of natural gas fuel vehicles with liquefied natural gas (LNG). Assist customers with credit card/fueling card transactions. Clean and maintain fueling locations by: picking up trash, emptying trash cans and dumpsters, hand cleaning, painting, and polishing of fueling equipment, canopy, lot, islands, surrounding landscaping, in and outside of enclosures. Make periodic inspections of fueling locations and equipment to determine proper and normal operating conditions. Maintain all fueling related equipment and structures in accordance with manufactures and Clean Energy guidelines. Assist with repairs, replacement, and adjustment of malfunctioning equipment to restore proper operating condition specified in regulations and repair manuals. Supervisory Responsibilities This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Education and/or Experience High School Diploma or equivalent; 0-2 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. Reasoning Ability Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Computer Skills To perform this job successfully the individual should have a basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. Certificates, Licenses, Registrations None required.
