Sales Operations Coordinator

The Sales Operations Coordinator is responsible on a global basis for support functions essential to the sales team’s productivity and day-to-day operations. The individual will work closely with Sales, Finance, and Operations and play a critical role in ensuring smooth sales processes and accurate data. There will be a requirement to mine and analyze sales data to provide useful insights to various departments. As well as be responsible for fielding CRM support requests, managing the integrity of pipeline, opportunity and customer data. Success will require the individual to work under pressure with a calm and diplomatic attitude.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working with PSG to prepare formal quotations and RFP responses as required in an overflow capacity.
- Coordinates sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes used within the sales organization.
- Generate weekly forecast and metric reports & provide analysis for Sales Management, Production and Operations.
- Organize and facilitate weekly management staff meetings and quarterly business reviews.
- Assist in the development and design of presentations such as quarterly updates, Board of Directors, senior executive meetings, global meetings.
- Assist in all facets of sales planning, inclusive of regular updates to quotas, headcount and sales plans.
- Manage all aspects of the CRM – Subject Matter Expert.
- Monitors and enforces compliance with required standards for maintaining CRM data.
- Proactively identifies opportunities for sales process improvement. Works closely with sales management to inspect sales process quality and prioritize opportunities for improvement. Assists sales management in understanding process bottlenecks and inconsistencies.
- Monitors the accuracy and efficient distribution of sales reports and other intelligence essential to the sales organization. Recommends revisions to existing reports, or assists in the development of new reporting tools as needed.
- Working with Finance, and Human Resources, manages the monthly and annual commission payment process.
- Coordinates all grant funding application preparation and submissions.
- Design, build and facilitate curriculum, training materials and training events for the global sales team.
- Complete all applicable Quality records.
- Perform work in accordance with CEC documented policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or other related field.
EXPERIENCE
- Experience in Sales Operations or Business Operations.
- Superior analytical skills.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Strong experience and aptitude using CRM applications; Salesforce.com or MS.
- 3 years of direct work experience in all aspects of sales, including growth strategies, distribution channel management, account development and business planning.
