Summary
Prepare detailed construction drawings used in the planning and construction of natural gas fueling stations, Biomethane gas plants, and/or building modifications. Draft detailed construction drawings which include specifications, related maps, topographical profiles, process and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID's), process flow diagrams (PFD), sight layouts, and/or aerial arrangements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Review rough sketches, drawings, specifications, redlines, and other engineering data received from engineers and project managers. Transform initial rough product designs using computer aided design (CAD) into working documents using AutoCAD.

Create drawings from initial and conceptual design from Engineer.
Plot maps and charts showing profiles and cross-sections, indicating relation of topographical contours and elevations to buildings, retaining walls, tunnels, overhead power lines, and other structures.
Draft detailed drawings of structures and installations such as roads, culverts, fresh water supply, sewage disposal systems, dikes, wharfs, breakwaters, process piping, and utility installations.
Develop as-built drawings from field measurements and observations.

Experience Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field, 3-5 years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the construction or process piping field.
Language Skills Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Reasoning Ability Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. Computer Skills
Knowledge of CAD Design software, preferably AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook. Certificates,

Licenses, Registrations CAD Certificate preferred.
