DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist Lead Designers with design of electrical and pneumatic control schematics
Continue the development and implementation of standard Engineering practices and documentation
Perform electrical & pneumatic troubleshooting of the IMW equipment and components
Perform PLC programming changes or upgrades
Improve current PLC programs and electrical systems including instrumentation and A/C drives
Troubleshoot and maintain electrical equipment, including PLC's, servo drives and A/C drives
Liaise with suppliers/contractors/commissioning teams regarding equipment
Must be able to create and read logic and flow diagrams for program design, programming, simulation and testing, and start-up
Train operators & maintenance staff in the operation & maintenance of IMW electrical and pneumatic equipment and components
Perform work in accordance with IMW documented policies and procedures
Complete all applicable quality records
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
BS in Electrical or Computer Engineering is an asset
EXPERIENCE
Proven experience in PLC logic and programming preferably with Allen Bradley, Siemens
2 years of experience in PLC programming and hand-on in working in an industrial environment
Experience in Hazardous area and Oil/Gas industries is an asset
PHYSICAL
Travel 10% to North America Customers

Experience Microsoft Office applications, ERP, Autocad

Ability to develop and implement standard Engineering practices, as well as provide detailed documentation upon project completion
Ability to Perform field service work, such as the installation & commissioning of new company equipment and the repair, modification or upgrading of company's equipment
