Field Service Maintenance Mechanic II

This field service role is your opportunity to work as a self-directed Maintenance Mechanic responsible for the care and maintenance of natural gas fueling stations.
You will
join a strong local team, (part of a large, nationwide team) including two Field Service Technicians / Maintenance Mechanics and a Field Supervisor assigned to a group of compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquefied natural gas (LNG) fueling stations in the extended Atlanta area. You will primarily focus on five CNG stations in the Southern Atlanta region, holding responsibility for completing inspections, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and troubleshooting and repairing equipment related issues. This will include completing digital work orders, documenting all work performed and capturing critical data.
Clean Energy
provides all Field Service Technicians with training online, on the job and at our training facility, to give you the knowledge and confidence to work on and repair our specialized equipment. Salary range depends on experience and includes
overtime, a company vehicle and competitive benefits.
You will work a standard, Monday through Friday day shift, generally, 8 AM to 5 PM, though you may choose to start earlier. You'll also participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation every third week. Initially, there will be some overnight travel for training. In addition, you may occasionally be asked to travel to other states, usually for a week at a time, to cover other territories or projects. The ideal candidate will live in the Southern Atlanta area, but we will consider strong candidates anywhere in the area.

The Requirements
- Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical equipment. We'll also consider recent graduates from relevant trade school programs or military veterans with relevant training. Quick question for you - click here
- A commitment to working safely with high-pressure gases and electrical components.
- A self-starter with a can-do attitude and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- A valid driver's license and acceptable/insurable driving record. Quick question for you - click here
- High school diploma or GED.
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without requiring visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
You will need a good set of mechanic tools (combo wrenches, drive sockets, etc.) up to 1.5". Clean Energy provides all specialized tools. Veterans are encouraged to apply.
