Field Service Maintenance Mechanic I - First Shift

Service Fuel Stations that Provide Fleets with America’s Clean, Domestically Produced Renewable Fuel
This field service role is your opportunity to work as a self-directed Maintenance Mechanic, responsible for the care and maintenance of natural gas fueling stations.
You will join a strong team of local Field Service Technician / Maintenance Mechanics and be assigned a group of about 12 natural gas fueling stations in the greater Houston area. You'll be responsible for completing inspections, cleaning and maintaining equipment, and troubleshooting and repairing equipment related issues. This will include completing digital work orders, documenting all work performed and capturing critical data.

Clean Energy provides all Field Service Maintenance Mechanic with training, online, on the job and at our training facility, to give you the knowledge and confidence to work on and repair our specialized equipment.
You'll work the day shift, Monday through Friday, and participate in an on-call rotation for 24/7 coverage, including weekends and holidays. In addition, you will need to be willing and able to travel, both for training, and to support stations in other regions (such as South West Texas, Louisiana and/or Mississippi). When you travel to support other regions, you may be out for a week or two at a time. This doesn't happen regularly, but when it does, you'll need to be available and willing. Salary range depends on experience and includes overtime, company vehicle and competitive benefits.
The Requirements
- Strong computer skills, including the ability to create digital work orders, utilize the Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.) and navigate various other computer programs.
- A demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair mechanical equipment. Ideal candidates will be strong in BOTH mechanical and electrical. However, as long as you are strong in one, we'll teach you the other. Quick question for you - click here
- A commitment to working safely with high-pressure gases and electrical components.
- A self-starter with a can-do attitude and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Acceptable/insurable driving record.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the U.S. without requiring visa transfer or visa sponsorship.
